Studio Desert Honey began in 2020, when the name ‘Desert Honey’ came to me in a dream. It brought a feeling of warmth and playfulness that reminded me of my childhood spent gardening with my green-thumbed mother & grandmother. Closely studying a flower’s colour and natural shape is something that entranced me as a young girl and, as an adult, is a curiosity that is still growing! Studio Desert Honey directly reflects my passion for nature, with designs that feel like they could be plucked straight from a garden.

While prioritizing local, in-season flowers wherever possible, we create designs without the use of floral foam — a single-use, non-biodegradable, non-recyclable, toxic substance. We believe that it is our responsibility as an event florist to operate as sustainably as possible, minimizing waste and sourcing locally.

We create sculptural, flower-forward designs for love stories across Southwestern Ontario. We collaborate with clients to create heartfelt, whimsical arrangements that bring immense joy to every event.
